Another week, another milagro :)

Hello family and friends!!!

Ahhh this week was another great week!! I know that I say this every week, but this week seriously was a week of milagros!! One of the best weeks by far here in Mosconi! We had a lot of awesome lessons and just have amazing people that are progressing in the gospel!!

It started off a little crazy bc I had to go to Salta Capital for trametes (paperwork for my visa) but instead of traveling with Hna Folau, I got to go with Hna Truijillo (the other hna in my district and group) because she needed to do trametes too. At first we were pretty nervous to be traveling alone because our Spanish still needs A LOT of work, but it all turned out okay! (haha milagro uno!!) The paperwork in Salta only took like 4 hours and I got to see Hna Hughes again!! It was really fun but also sad because being without Hna Folau for 1 and a half days made me realize how much I am going to miss her. Haha she has become one of my best friends and and we only have 2 weeks left together.. :(

We went back to work on Friday in our area and invited 3 people to baptism that day!! It was awesome!! We began teaching Antonella and Soledad who came with us to church last week and they accepted a fecha for baptism! Even though they still have some reservations because they were baptized in the Catholic church already as babies, I have faith that with time and the help of the Holy Ghost, they can gain their own personal knowledge and testimony that this church is true.. and the only way to receive eternal happiness and joy!!
We also continued to work with Andres. Sadly he wasn't ready for his interview for baptism last week, but our Branch President is good friends with him and was able to talk with him on Saturday and thinks he will be ready this next week. We may not have a lot of members here in Mosconi, but I am so grateful that the members we do have are always willing to help us. Their love and help are some of the biggest blessings and milagros I have witnessed to far :)

We also got to teach Yolanda and Gustavo and their family some more this week! Their family is one of my favorites because they are so welcoming and receiving of our message sometimes, that I already feel like they are members! Sadly Yolanda y Gustavo still need to get married before they can get baptized, but they have a son named David who is 11 and wants to be baptized as well! We were nervous they were going to be opposed to having him get baptized before them, but they said if he wants to he can!! Un milagro!! He has been to church several times with his cousins who are members and loves primary!!

So this past Sunday we ended up having 5 people at church and it was the best feeling!! (Andres, Soledad, Antonella, David, y Ayelen). There were also a lot of menos activos that came and it made my heart so full!! To be honest, the beginning of this transfer was kind of hard because it feel like our people just didn't want to progress and we were not seeing any success. But now after alot of finding, teaching, and inviting it feels like we are seeing some fruits of our labors! I think a lot of the people we are working with now, are the Lord's escogidos (chosen ones).

Anyways some other things happened this week that I will explain in the pictures below. Love and miss you all! Thank you for your love and support! Stay safe :)

I cannot even put into words the joy and happiness I feel here in Argentina from getting to focus all my time and energy in bringing other souls unto Christ! May we strive to come a little closer to Him cada dia!!

Con amor,
Hna Tate

Sunday we got to eat with the cutest family of recent converts in the Hnas area and they fed us ASADO!!! MY NEW FAV FOOD HERE! It was like steak at a fancy restaurant but even better!!

A lady we contacted told me I looked really stressed and tired (shes not wrong) decided to give me a massage. It was a little weird at first but ended up feeling AMAZING.

Saw Hna Hughes in Salta and it was THE BEST!!! ahh i miss her

Some members showed us their farm and animals on Tuesday and let us feed them! Haha it felt like I was at a zoo except I could actually go inside the cages too... thankfully they didnt have any crazy animals so I didnt get any more bites :)

Some pics from hike we did last week in Bolivia!! (jk it was still in our mission boundaries but basically on the border of Argentina and Bolivia)

Our new years decorations in the Hnas apartment (Hna Folau and Hna Trujillo)
