Facebook actually works!

Hey guys! I had a pretty good week and I hope y'all did too!

I learned this week that Facebook actually works -WHAT (for missionary work I mean)!! We got a self referral on Tuesday, meaning someone saw an ad we put on FB to contact the missionaries & they requested us!! I had no idea people like that existed lol. It was honestly pretty awesome. His name is Rafael & he's golden, but sadly I think we're going to give him to the English elders to teach because he prefers English or Portuguese (he's Brazilian). Haha our area has also had a lot of people message our Spanish Facebook page for the mission. It's still a work in progress but it's been kinda cool & fun to see it all come together.

Also breaking news - we can now GO INTO HOMES of anyone not sick & under 60 years old, if they invite us over!! We had a lesson with Nancy & Tito, a mother and son we've been teaching, in their apartment & it was AMAZING! We've really been working on gaining the people we're teaching and the members trust through daily interactions & service. The in person lesson we had with Nancy & Tito definitely helped us build that trust :))

Also we had interviews with President Wells in person!! It was cool - haha my first and last interview with him because we will be getting a new mission president next month. President Wells is awesome, but I'm also excited to get to know our new president & his wife!

Lately I've been thinking a lot about Jacob 5 - the allegory of the olive tree. This chapter is seriously one of my favorites from the Book of Mormon. Anyways with all that's been happening in the world this year I think the Lord has been HARD at work more or less in His vineyard. He literally grafted hundreds of His missionaries like me into completely different parts of His vineyard & I'm sure He has grafted each and every one of you in ways you had never expected. I have never had to trust Him more as the "ardener than now & I am so grateful He knows what He's doing haha.

Yo se que nuestro Padre Celestial conoce cada uno de sus hijos y tiene un plan perfecto para nosotros. May we all try to put a little more trust & faith in Him as He helps us flourish in His vineyard.
Hope y'all have a fantastic week!!
