El amor de Dios

 Hey guys!!

How are y'all?! Sorry I can't really come up with a more creative ways to start these group emails...

This week was really good!! Honestly we probably had more meetings this past week than I've had my entire mission lol... but they were all really good!! We had an MLC meeting on Tuesday and talked about how we can really retain all these new people that we have been finding! It has been super awesome to see how our mission has now surpassed the amount of people we've been able to find and teach before COVID!! This pandemic has honestly been a blessing for missionary work as more people are now more ready than ever to hear the gospel and come into Christ!! We also had our typical zone council and district council meetings on Wednesday then had a mission conference on Thursday!! Even though this one was still over zoom for the most part, we got to give some trainings and meet together with just our zone in person for some parts of it! Also President bought us all lunch which was really generous:) Recently some missionaries who were previously not able to go to the temple due to corona got to go to the temple in San Diego with their parents and it was really neat to hear each of them bear their testimonies of the experience. It honestly made me so so grateful for temples we have here on earth and the covenants and ordinances we can make with our Heavenly Father inside!! I know as we strive to keep ourselves worthy to enter into the temple, even while the majority of them are not open to everyone, we will be able to feel the presence of God in our lives and find peace in Christ.

We also found a lot of success this week in having spiritual experiences with some new people we are teaching!! We had a lesson with a lady named Wendy on Monday. We kept our lesson really simple and brief, focusing on God's love and prayer and immediately she opened right up to us! She told us her struggle with loving and forgiving herself for all her weaknesses and past mistakes. We listened to her and then testified of the power and healing process of the Atonement and the perfect love our Heavenly Father has for her, despite her weaknesses and mistakes. We invited her to pray to see herself how God sees her during the closing prayer and she did!! She actually said one of the best prayers I have ever heard any investigator say! She was very open and honest with God and inspired me to be more honest and open with God in my own personal prayers. I can testify that I know God listened to Wendy's prayer in that lesson and that He listens to EVERY single one of our prayers.

We also taught similar principles in a lesson with Maribel and Kenia, a mom and a daughter we have begun to teach and with Eva, Claudia and Cristofer, another family we found and they all said phenomenal prayers at the end of our lessons!! It has been really neat to see as missionary how much God's perfect love and mercy really softens people's hearts and invites the spirit in the homes of our investigators!!

I hope you all know how much God loves you and is aware of you! He has a perfect plan for every single one of us and wants to be involved in the very details of our lives. May we all come even closer to Him and our Savior Jesus Christ this week through sincere prayer!!

Love you all!!

Con cariño,
Hna Tate
