All good things must come to an end...ciao Hna Folau:(

Hola guys!!  Today is transfer day and the ending of my training!! Crazy how time flies. This week was depressing having to say goodbye to the best comp, Hna Folau!! Wow I am going to miss her. Haha we had a lot of slow moments together both being pretty new and confused and she actually became one of my best friends. Also bc she's Poly (the ONLY other Poly Hna in the mission!!!) and Polys are the best. But it's okay she's not going very far... only like 12 hours away to the most southern part of my mission!! Lol its fine, I ́m fine. But I am getting a madrastra (stepmother)!!! She will get here tonight so more about her next week :) I'm excited!! My zone is actually switching out a lot of our missionaries - which is sad because we actually became close as a zone, but I'm excited to get to know some new missionaries. The other 2 hermanas in my district left too :( This past week work wise was a little harder than the weeks before. Right now it is summe...

Mas Milagros en Mosconi!!

Image
This week was a week de diez!! (10/10) I know that all the milagros we were able to see were really blessings from Heavenly Father and my heart is just filled with gratitude!!! On Tuesday we had zone conference in Jujuy!! I always love conferences, but this one was a little crazy because we had to wake up at like 4 in the morning to leave for the conference 4 hours away. It was fun to see other missionaries and President and his wife though!! This conference we focused on how we can better teach the restoration to our people and also prepare ourselves personally for General Conference. I hope you are all preparing to celebrate and commemorate our beloved prophet Joseph Smith and the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this April!! Then after the conference we went to Oran for exchanges with the hermanas capas (STLs) there! Or an is a town about 2 and 1/2 hours south of Mosconi. It was a little bit more cuidad than Tartagal and I got to work with Hna ...

Another week, another milagro :)

Hello family and friends!!!  Ahhh this week was another great week!! I know that I say this every week, but this week seriously was a week of milagros!! One of the best weeks by far here in Mosconi! We had a lot of awesome lessons and just have amazing people that are progressing in the gospel!!   It started off a little crazy bc I had to go to Salta Capital for trametes (paperwork for my visa) but instead of traveling with Hna Folau, I got to go with Hna Truijillo (the other hna in my district and group) because she needed to do trametes too. At first we were pretty nervous to be traveling alone because our Spanish still needs A LOT of work, but it all turned out okay! (haha milagro uno!!) The paperwork in Salta only took like 4 hours and I got to see Hna Hughes again!! It was really fun but also sad because being without Hna Folau for 1 and a half days made me realize how much I am going to miss her. Haha she has become one of my best friends and and we only hav...

First week of 2020!! Woohoo!!

Hola mi familia y amigos!  This email is going to be way shorter than normal, because we had a busy busy p-day, but I just wanted to email real quick and say that I am doing well!! :) Some highlights from this week were we had 3 people at la iglesia this past week!!! Ahhh it was awesome! Andres came again, and we are preparing him to hopefully have his baptism this next week (but we will see haha) and then Soledad and Antonella (a mother and daughter) we got as references from a member came with us in a remis (taxi)!!! It was kinda crazy because we only just met them on Saturday and then Sunday morning when were were calling all of our investigators like normal and reminding them about church, they actually answered and said they wanted to come with us! Antonella is 14 years old and she is SO so cute. We got them as a reference because their uncle Jose, who is a member, asked us to help Antonella with her schooling. She is trying to learn English and since Hna Folau an...

FELIZ AÑO NUEVO!!!!!

HEY y'all!! GUESS WHO'S A TRUE MISSIONARY NOW??? Haha here in my mission all the missionaries say you're not a "true missionary" until you've been robbed or bitten by a dog - and guess who was bitten by a dog this week ?!?!? This girl WOOHOO!!! lucky me hahaha No but seriously... I think I've already mentioned this but we have a serious dog problem in Mosconi. There are like as many dogs as humans, if not more (each family has A LEAST like 5 or 6). And let me tell you... these dogs are NOT like the dogs in the U.S. They are spawns of Satan and probably all have some sort of disease or rabies. So it was my biggest fear to get bit by one! But Thursday morning we had a lesson with Andres and were planning to teach him about temples. Since we hadn't taught many lessons about temples I decided to read the read the pamphlet on temples while we were walking. Well that was my mistake. We got to his house and I was looking at my book when my companion cla...
